This book study focuses on The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor, a transformative exploration of how positive psychology principles can enhance well-being, productivity, and success. Tailored specifically for educators, this study will delve into the book’s seven key principles and their practical applications within personal and professional contexts.

Through weekly discussions, participants will engage in meaningful conversations about the ways happiness fuels performance, overcome challenges, and cultivate strategies to foster positivity in educational environments. Each session will provide a platform to reflect on the material, share insights, and collaborate with peers to reimagine the role of positivity in teaching and learning.

The study will culminate in a final reflection paper, where participants will synthesize their understanding of the book and outline actionable steps for integrating its concepts into their lives and classrooms. This experience aims to equip educators with tools to promote resilience, enhance student and staff well-being, and create thriving learning communities.
