This in-person book study, designed for educators at New England Public Schools, offers a collaborative exploration of The Culture Code by Daniel Coyle. The course will begin with a two-hour introductory session, followed by weekly one-hour meetings (on Mondays) over 10 weeks, concluding with a two-hour culminating discussion and one additional hour dedicated to a final written reflection.
Participants will engage in chapter readings and discussions centered on the three core skills that build successful group culture: building safety, sharing vulnerability, and establishing purpose. Through collaborative dialogue, participants will connect the book’s ideas to the school environment, exploring how school culture impacts student outcomes, staff collaboration, and leadership effectiveness. This course provides practical strategies and mindsets for creating a more cohesive, positive, and resilient school culture.
