School Improvement: Highly Reliable Schools (Summer 2025)
NOTE: Course offered to DPS teachers, counselors, administrators, and paraprofessionals.

Through the school improvement process, participants will analyze academic and social data from the 24-25 school year. Participants will then collaboratively design Goals, Objectives, Critical Initiatives, and Key Measures for the 25-26 school year. Additional resources will include High Reliability Schools by Marzano, Warrick, Simms (2014), The New Art and Science of Teaching by Marzano (2017), and Leading Standards-Based Learning by Tammy Hefelbower.
DPS is working on Levels 1,2,3, & 4 of HRS. Each school is concentrating on different levels. This course will offer personalization for each school. All schools will need to provide NWEA, NDA+, HRS, Engagement, & School Climate Survey.
