In-service Professional Development (Fall 2026)

This professional book study is designed to help educators develop a growth mindset that enhances both their teaching practice and their relationships with colleagues and students. Through a collaborative reading of Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol Dweck, participants will explore how beliefs about intelligence, ability, and learning influence student achievement, professional growth, and school culture.

Participants will engage in thoughtful discussions, reflect on their own beliefs and practices, and identify practical strategies for fostering resilience, perseverance, and a love of learning in the classroom. Together, we will examine ways to create learning environments where mistakes are viewed as opportunities for growth, challenges are embraced, and all members of the school community are empowered to reach their full potential.
