Book Study of Workshopping the Canon (Spring 2025)

Participants will dive into the ideas presented in Workshopping the Canon. Through reading, teachers will enhance their understanding of how they can plan and teach classical texts with a variety of high-interest  genres within a reading and writing workshop structure using real-world essential questions. They will focus on how to implement  their classic genres in a new and engaging way and enhance their secondary  writing instruction to help students learn about the world around them. Teachers will help students take ownership of their learning and increase engagement in the classroom.
