Retrieval Practice (Summer 2025)

This course is intended for participants to learn about and create opportunities for increasing student retrieval. Participants will dive into the ideas presented by Kate Jones author of Retrieval Practice Research & Resources for Every Classroom, Retrieval Practice 2 Implementing, Embedding & Reflecting, Retrieval Practice: Primary A Guide for Primary Teachers and Leaders, and Retrieval Practice: Resource Guide Ideas and Activities for the Classroom. Reading and viewing related videos, they will enhance their understanding of retrieval practice and how to implement the ideas across curriculum for all students. Discussions with colleagues will help them to apply these ideas within their classrooms.
